365 days a year Simpson Housing’ emergency shelter hosts volunteer groups who plan, purchase, prepare, and serve dinner at our shelter for 110 shelter guests and shelter alumni. This is a great opportunity to learn a bit more about the shelter and homelessness in Minneapolis, get to know Simpson Housing, and have fun making a healthy meal with friends, coworkers, or family! Volunteer with folks from EMC on Saturday, November 2nd from 5-8pm to prepare and serve this meal. If you can’t join us on the 2nd but would still like to be involved we are in need of 10 dozen cookies/bars to serve for dessert. Please use the sign up sheet in the Gathering Space to indicate your interest or email the church office.
