The Vikings Are Coming! Front Porch Friday – June 28th

No NOT the football Vikings–the Scandinavian Vikings who explored, plundered and settled the world in the first millennium! The AMERICAN SWEDISH INSTITUTE is hosting THE VIKINGS BEGIN, an exhibit of artifacts from the period before the Vikings became notorious. Helmets, weapons, jewelry, etc. are displayed in both the new Annex of the Institute, but also in the beautiful adjoining Turnblad Mansion. We will plan to view the exhibit and lunch at the renowned “Fika” restaurant on site.

Join us Friday, JUNE 28 for a special experience! As usual, meet at 10:00 to carpool from the church. Cost is $12 adults, $8 seniors, $6, 6-18.
