We will be having our church’s own training (by ISAIAH organizer Ollin Montes, on Thursday, July 31st, 6:30-9pm) for our members to have effective, transformational, one-to-one conversations and really get to know another person. With all the new members who have joined EMC since our last conversation training in 2016, this is the perfect opportunity to build community with people you worship next to but don’t always know very well. After the training, we’ll see how many one-to-one conversations we can have among church members, better understanding together what brings this community joy and struggle.
