Front Porch Friday will visit the Bakken Museum October 20. We will meet at 10am that Friday to carpool from church. The Bakken Museum takes it’s name from Earl Bakken, the local inventor who founded Medtronic. Housed in a mansion overlooking Lake Calhoun, the Bakken is a small gem of a museum. It’s focus is science – with emphasis on Ben Franklin and Frankenstein. It is surrounded by lovely gardens – some medicinal. Cost for entrance is $8 for seniors, $10 full price. We will have lunch in the area – and are open to suggestions for a place. Please RSVP by contacting the church office or on the sign up posted on the bulletin board in the narthex.
