Edina Morningside Church prays that God’s way is done “on earth as in heaven”, and so we care that our elected leaders serve God’s priorities with policies that serve an economy and a democracy for everyone. Join us for a public meeting with local state legislators on April 14th at 1pm, where we will hear of their progress toward this vision in the 2019 session, and share stories of how their decisions impact us and our less-fortunate neighbors. Working with ISAIAH (an interfaith organization for racial and economic justice), we’ll call on our leaders to adopt laws that promote a caring economy and a democracy that honors every person’s dignity.
